Creating Engaging Templates
Set up templates for generating thank you emails for donations received. Templates can include your organization's letterhead, signature, pictures, and text to make emails visually appealing. Updating templates regularly keeps them fresh and engaging.
Importing Donations and Personalization
Donations can be captured or imported into the system from a bank statement, accounting package, or spreadsheet. After importing, you can issue thank you emails to each contact or organization. Use the merge feature to automatically insert donor details such as first name, last donation amount, and donation date. Emails can be further personalized or sent as-is to convey appreciation.
Testing and Automation
Before sending emails to donors, send a test email to yourself to ensure everything looks and functions correctly. Once satisfied with the templates, you can enable automatic thank you emails to be sent immediately after each donation is received.
